Riprendo questa poll dedicata ai migliori album usciti anno per anno. A differenza degli anni 70, ho deciso di dedicare la decade successiva all'heavy metal in ogni sua forma. A sto giro, come potete vedere, si parla del 1981, e la domanda è sempre quella: quali sono i vostri album preferiti di quel periodo? Potete votarne 3, e spuntare la casella "Altro" nel caso vogliate citare un album non presente in lista.

Killers e Fire Down Under classicissimi.
E poi Denim and Leather, che non è solo Princess of the Night, anzi... sempre avuto un debole per Midnight Rider e per l'inno (amarcord) della titletrack:

I primi due sono capolavori assoluti. Forse avrei messo anche For Those About to Rock degli AC/DC, anch’esso gran disco

Ho votato Cirith Ungol e poi due "altro" , che poi sarebbero i Rose Tattoo con " Assault and Battery" e i Demon con "night of the demon"

My favorite album is Breaker by Accept. The album opens with the title track, "Breaker," which is a high-energy, riff-driven song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The next track, "Wake Up the Mountain," is a slower, contexto more melodic song that showcases lead vocalist Udo Dirkschneider's powerful voice.

Votato abbastanza serenamente i tre capolavori presenti nella lista, Killers, Diary of a Madman e Mob Rules. Per molti lo è anche Fire Down Under ma mi hai detto che bisogna votarne 3 dunque lo tengo fuori. Per altrettanti lo è anche Welcome to Hell ma io non concorderò mai.
