A Pale December is an Atmospheric Black Metal band from Milan formed in 2013. The founding members are Riccardo Di Bella and Ernesto Ciotola,both guitarists from the Melodic Death metal band Hagraven,here nicknamed respectively Korpsvart and Ymir. The band started as a side-project for the two musicians in order to create a creative outlet containing their compositions that didn't fit with the original band.

Main songwriter and lyricist Korpsvart plays guitar and additional vocals,while Ymir handles drum programming and bass guitar, focusing his work on additional arrangiaments.
Only then Sara,Hagraven's vocalist,joined forces with her band mates,delivering her abrasive screaming.

Nature,woody landscapes and other spellbinding images are beatifully showed to the listeners by both lyrics and music - inspired by acts like Agalloch,adding also elements from Emperor and post-rock as well - helped also by an homemade production,that fits with their musical aesthetics,without being shoddy or undertone.

By then A Pale December has a 3 tracks self-produced demo/EP released on August and now is searching a label to work with and new members to bring their woody,cold and emotional music on stage as soon as possible.
